Casemiro: Man Utd fans rave about Brazilian after classy assist vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United cruised to victory against Nottingham Forest in their return to Premier League action on Tuesday evening.

United were looking to mark their first league game after the World Cup break with a win.

And they did just that as they beat their lowly opponents 3-0.

Marcus Rashford gave United the lead in the 19th minute after combining with Christian Eriksen from a clever corner routine.

Anthony Martial then doubled United’s lead three minutes later.

Fred emerged from the bench and notched United’s third goal with three minutes remaining.

Casemiro was brilliant throughout.

And he capped off a superb display with a classy assist for his compatriot, Fred, late in the game.

Nottingham Forest looked to break forward and salvage something from the game but Casemiro snuffed out their attack with ease.

He then made his way up the pitch and showed great composure to pick out an unmarked Fred.

Fred then did the rest as he placed the ball into the corner of the net. View the goal below…
