Canadiens’ Mike Hoffman: Lands three-year deal with Montreal
Hoffman #Hoffman
Hoffman signed a three-year, $13.5 million contract with the Canadiens on Wednesday, Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston reports.
Hoffman played pretty well with the Blues last season, picking up 17 goals, 36 points — 17 of which came on the power play — and 113 shots while averaging 15:04 of ice time per contest. The 31-year-old winger should slot into a middle-six role while also being featured on one of Montreal’s power-play units next season, giving him 30-goal and 60-point upside.
