Canadiens’ Jonathan Drouin to take indefinite leave for personal reasons

Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will take an indefinite leave from the team for personal reasons, the club announced on Wednesday.
Drouin, 26, has two goals and 21 assists over 44 games so far this season. The team has placed him on long-term injured reserve.
“We ask everyone to respect his privacy,” the team said.
