Cameron suffers hamstring injury against Dons

Jeremy Cameron’s hamstring issues have continued once again after being substituted off in the first half against Essendon.
Cameron starred in the first half kicking three goals from three kicks, but cameras caught him feeling behind his right leg on numerous occasions.
Geelong eventually substituted Cameron off midway through the second quarter, replacing him with medical substitute Max Holmes.
Cameron was given a massage by Geelong’s physios before having his left leg wrapped in ice.
The injury came after Cameron went through a late fitness test prior to the Cats’ match against Essendon, leading to questions as to why he was allowed to play given his trouble with hamstrings.

The 28-year-old missed the start of the home and away season after straining his hamstring during the pre-season.
Cameron’s pre-season hamstring injury came just months after he had injured the same hamstring earlier in the Cats’ off-season in January.
“I just saw him running around a bit but he looked fine in the warm-up,” Cats great Cameron Mooney told Fox Footy.
“That’s a real shame isn’t it, you talk about an All-Australian going down. He is going to be sorely missed whether that’s a week or two or even more.”
