Afrobeats is taking center stage at the NBA’s 2023 All-Star Game.

The organization has announced Burna Boy, Tems and Rema will headline an Afrobeats-inspired performance Sunday night in Salt Lake City.

Last year’s show saw a performance by DJ Khaled, and he pulled out all the stops, bringing Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Migos, Lil Baby and Gunna to the floor.

Previously, artists like J. Cole, Jack Harlow, Common and Quavo have performed and participated in the weekend’s programming.

Post Malone will perform a medley of his hits this year, and Jewel will sing the national anthem.

According to ET Canada, Jully Black will sing the Canadian national anthem at the big game. Actor Vin Diesel will introduce the new NBA All-Stars, and the league will take a moment to honor LeBron James for breaking the scoring record a few weeks ago.

Before the big game, the NBA will host several star-studded events. The 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will be Friday, with Janelle Monáe, 21 Savage, Cordae, Ozuna, Kane Brown, Nicky Jam and more participating.

If you’re interested in watching the Celebrity Game, it will air exclusively on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET, after which it will be available on the ESPN app. Then, tune in to TNT at 8 p.m. ET to catch the All-Star Game.
