Bucks vs. Suns, NBA Finals score: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee look to put away Phoenix, win elusive title

Giannis #Giannis

The Milwaukee Bucks are one win away from their second NBA championship in franchise history, and their first in 50 years. They’ll have their chance to put away the Phoenix Suns and clinch the title at Fiserv Forum, where they are 9-1 in the playoffs. Teams with a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals have gone on to win the series 81 percent of the time. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. will look to make that happen Tuesday night in Game 6. While both teams got off to a slow start, it is the Suns who have found their flow on the offensive end to close the first half and, as a result, they own the lead after 24 minutes of play at Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks, coming off a 123-119 Game 5 win, are a perfect 3-0 in series-clinching games under head coach Mike Budenholzer this postseason. They look to become the third team in Finals history to win four straight after trailing 2-0. The Suns lost Saturday despite red-hot shooting, and are the first team ever to lose a playoff game despite shooting 55 percent from the field and 60 percent from 3-point range. They’ll need to keep the buckets coming if they want to stay alive and force a Game 7.
