BTS’s Jungkook achieved an impressive feat on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week!

Back in July, Jungkook made history when his hit solo single “Seven” (featuring Latto) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Global 200, and Global Excl. U.S. chart, making him the first Korean soloist in history ever to debut a song at No. 1 on all three charts simultaneously.

Since then, “Seven” has enjoyed a steady run on the Hot 100, where it is now spending its 10th consecutive week on the chart at No. 53.

With this achievement, Jungkook—as a soloist—has now tied BLACKPINK’s record for the third most cumulative weeks on the Hot 100 of any K-pop artist (bested only by Jungkook’s own group BTS and PSY). Not including the songs released by BTS as a group, both Jungkook and BLACKPINK have spent a total of 28 weeks each on the Hot 100 across all their songs.

Before “Seven,” Jungkook spent one week on the chart last year with his “7 Fates: CHAKHO” OST track “Stay Alive” (produced by Suga), followed by 17 weeks on the chart with his Charlie Puth collab “Left and Right.”

“Seven” also swept the No. 2 spot on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart this week, in addition to holding steady at No. 18 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart (which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States).

Congratulations to Jungkook!
