After Jungkook’s surprise appearance on Min Yoongi aka Suga’s final D-Day concert yesterday, speculations were rife that other band members, specifically Namjoon or Taehyung would take to the stage and set it on fire during the second part of the concert series today. However, ARMYs went berserk when the most unexpected of the group, none other than Park Jimin joined his hyung onstage.
Suga and Jimin performed the song ‘Tony Montana’ together. Jimin rapped the signature verse in this song – upon hearing the first note of his signature higher-pitched voices, ARMYs’ part shocked, part ecstatic cheers echoed through the KSPO dome. ‘Tony Montana’ is from Suga’s ‘Agust D’ album and fans were even more delighted to witness a song that took them back to the fandom’s roots.

Post their energetic joint performance, Yoongi went backstage, while Jimin was joined by backup dancers and a female lead as he performed his hit release ‘Like Crazy’ from his debut solo album ‘FACE.’ The song and album have taken BTS’s global fandom by storm ever since its release, and ARMYs couldn’t reign in their excitement as they became the lucky audience of a surprise live performance of the track.
In his heartfelt address the audience, Jimin thanked both his Suga hyung and ARMYs were giving him the opportunity to come back on stage. Jimin talked about how Suga had been worried about his solo tour, considering that the other six members would not perform with him for the very first time, but congratulated him on a fantastic run. Jimin also joked about how the lead performer usually introduces the guest stars, but Yoongi simply went backstage and left him to his devices. “Well, that is Yoongi hyung’s classic style, I suppose,” he quipped.
Fans are going wild about Jimin’s surprise appearance and are manifesting Namjoon and Taehyung to perform during the final show tomorrow. Jimin had previously attended the final Seoul show of the first leg of the tour along with Taehyung and Jungkook – and it seems like the maknae line are nabbing the opportunity to dazzle ARMYs during the encore shows! SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi, both of whom also appeared as guests on Suga’s talk show ‘Suchitwa’ were also spotted in the audience.
Suga had surprised fans during the Los Angeles leg of his D-Day world tour by teaming up with American singer-songwriter Halsey. The collaboration took place on the final day of Suga’s three-day concert at Kia Forum
