BTS member Jungkook has deleted his Instagram account. He informed fans about the same on Weverse and mentioned categorically that it was not a ‘hack’. This comes after JK went live on Weverse a day after fans trended on Twitter to protect his privacy. This comes after an alleged sasaeng (the Korean term for obsessed stalkers) threatened to leak private information about the artists on their IG accounts.

In what looks like an apparent reaction to the same, JK wrote on Weverse, “I left Instagram. It’s not a hack. 🙂 I just erased it because I didn’t do it. Don’t worry.” In another post, he wrote, “I deleted the app right away. I don’t think I’ll have to do it in the future! I’ll let you know in advance! H.H.H.”
