BTS leader Namjoon’s privacy is comprised. BigHit Music promises legal action

BTS leader Kim Namjoon aka RM made headlines recently after it was revealed that his privacy was invaded by an employee of Korean railways. The news first appeared on Korean TV channel SBS where it was revealed that the employee of Korail accessed RM’s private information at least 18 times since 2019, without any authority. It was revealed that the employee used the information for personal reasons like ensuring booking tickets next to him.
From RM’s home address, to his telephone number, the Korail employee accessed all information without any consequences. As soon as the news was revealed, fans of BTS expressed a their furore over it. Taking cognizance of it, BigHit Music assured that necessary action will be taken against the accused. RM is currently in Spain for the Milan Fashion Week.
BigHit Music revealed that they have sought out all details of the employee from the company and are investigating the matter. For those unaware, Korail is the government owned public railway system which ensures affordable transport in South Korea.
Leaking of private information is not new to BTS. Earlier this week, in another case, Jungkook faced a threat with his personal details to be revealed by a stalker fan. Shortly, the BTS member deactivated his Instagram account for good. Even V faced privacy invading issue a few months back which infuriated ARMY on social media.
Meanwhile, BTS is currently focusing on solo activities. The next member to enlist is J-hope.
