Jungkook, the ‘Golden Maknae’ of BTS, turned 26 today!

While ARMY flooded timelines on social media, wishing a very happy birthday for the ‘Seven’ hitmaker, one post from bandmate and bestie Jimin has stolen the show.

BTS Jimin’s heartfelt birthday post for Jungkook has been making waves on the Internet. The ‘Like Crazy’ singer took to Instagram on Friday (September 1st) and dropped a picture along with the caption, “Happy Birthday, JK!” He also added a winking emoji along with the caption.

Although the superstar limited responses, the post went viral, accumulating over 9 million likes!

In the picture, both the BTS members can be seen bare-chested, with their backs turned toward the viewers. Jimin has an arm around his bestie and his moon tattoos can be seen clearly. The picture appears black and white. Jimin also reminded fans to wish Jungkook on his special day during a recent Weverse live. “Today is Jungkook’s birthday! He’s very busy. We talked on the phone yesterday. He’s very busy. I hope he takes care of his health. Please wish him a happy birthday. It’s a happy day after all!”ARMY went ballistic at the cute gesture. One ARMY shared an earlier interaction between Jimin and Jungkook (aka Jikook!) and wrote, “Together? Awww!”Before his 26th birthday, the Golden Maknae took to Weverse to interact with his fans. He thanked them for showing support to him and making him feel “loved.”

He also said that these days he felt more confident in himself and thanked his ARMYs again, requesting them to have trust in him.

ARMYs also flooded the Twitter timeline to wish Jungkook a happy birthday. “THE WAY JUNGKOOK IS LOOKING SO MUCH YOUNGER AND CUTE ON HIS 26th BIRTHDAY I’M CRYING,” wrote a gushing fan.

In the video, Jungkook does appear very happy and relaxed, wearing a white cap and a T-shirt.

On the work front, Jungkook has been on a roll. His debut single ‘Seven’ became the fastest male act to reach 100-500 million streams on Spotify. It also debuted atop the Billboard 100 chart as well as the domestic music chart Melon 100 (South Korea).
