The “Dynamite” performance opens with Jungkook singing while standing in a doorway. His blue hair matching his blue microphone, he sings while walking out into the seats of a large auditorium.

The camera pans to RM sitting in one of the plush red seats in another section of the theater. J-Hope begins to sing, and he joins Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook onstage.

Seven spotlights shine down on the Korean band, and Jungkook sits behind a drum set in the middle of the group. Jungkook eagerly drums along while singing for most of the song. After the song’s bridge, all seven members of BTS stand and sing the song’s final chorus.

With the lighting, setting, and overall energy, the Music On A Mission concert easily becomes one of BTS’ most memorable “Dynamite” performances.

BTS fans loved Jungkook playing the drums

Big Hit Entertainment uploaded BTS’ Music On A Mission performance to the BANGTANTV YouTube channel. “DRUMMER JUNGKOOK” began trending on Twitter as BTS fans discussed the performance.

Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS and is frequently known as the Golden Maknae because he is good at everything. The BTS singer often surprises ARMY with new skills that he picked up, and the virtual concert proved to be no exception.

“I can’t get over drummer Jungkook. I just can’t,” a fan wrote on Reddit.

Another fan wrote, “Dance break Dynamite was a lock for me until I saw blue hair drummer Jungkook Dynamite. That’s some stiff competition.”

BTS will perform at the 2021 Grammy Awards

In years past, the MusiCares Person of the Year gala took place in person. Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Recording Academy put on a virtual concert called Music On A Mission to benefit MusiCares.

BTS originally released “Dynamite” in August 2020, and the members have since performed the song dozens of times. Still, Music On A Mission showed the band keeps the catchy song sounding fresh by finding inventive ways to enhance their performances.

If the Korean band managed to pull off this level of performance for the virtual concert, there is no doubt the members’ performance at the Grammy Awards will be a showstopper.

The 2021 Grammy Awards will air on CBS on March 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
