Bryan Danielson Is ‘Definitely’ Off Forbidden Door Event

Bryan Danielson recently suffered an undisclosed injury during the Anarchy In The Arena at Double Or Nothing. Danielson was supposedly set to fight Zack Sabre Jr., but Bryan Alvarez has confirmed that Danielson is “definitely” going to sit this one out.

Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that Danielson is not going to be wrestling at Forbidden Door. This was a follow-up from his report yesterday that the Bearded GOAT will not be at the big show.

“Well, here listen you dorks. I suppose it’s possible that Bryan Danielson is going to wrestle Zack Saber Jr at Forbidden Door, but I was told a couple of days ago that Bryan Danielson may be out, and that’s what I was told.”

“I did a follow-up today and as of this morning, as of two hours ago, I was told — and I’ll give you the exact words, ‘He is definitely out.’ So, it doesn’t look like Danielson is wrestling at Forbidden Door.”

It was also noted that Bryan Danielson “may be off Blood & Guts,” because he is expected to address that match during tonight’s appearance on AEW Dynamite as well.

We’ll have to see if Alvarez has been misinformed or if Danielson is really not wrestling at the Forbidden Door event. Stay tuned to Ringside for more updates!
