Bruins vs. Panthers Game 7: NHL announces start time for Sunday
Bruins #Bruins
The Bruins and Florida Panthers will decide their first-round series on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at TD Garden.
The teams are tied 3-3 heading into Game 7 after Florida won Game 6 on Friday in Sunrise.
The Bruins had to wait until the night’s other games finished on Friday to find out their start time. The NHL didn’t know how many games they’d have to slot into television windows until after all the games finished. The Avalanche and Kraken will play their Game 7 at 9:30 p.m.
National TV broadcasts haven’t been announced yet.
Carolina and Dallas each clinched their first-round series on Friday leaving just Boston and Florida and Colorado vs. Seattle to play deciding games on Sunday.
The winner of the Bruins and Panthers will face the winner of Tampa Bay and Toronto in the second round. The Maple Leafs lead that series 3-2 heading into Saturday’s Game 6. If Toronto wins Saturday, the second-round series could start as soon as Tuesday. If it goes seven games, it could be pushed to as late as Thursday.
If the Bruins win and Toronto-Tampa goes to Game 7 Monday, the second round would have to start Thursday because the Celtics host Game 1 against Philadelphia on Wednesday at the Garden.
