Broome incident: Extra cops deployed after three Aboriginal kids restrained with cable ties in Cable Beach

Extra cops from two specialist units have been deployed to Broome in the wake of Tuesday’s “confronting” incident that saw a man allegedly restrain three children with cable ties after they trespassed on a property to swim in a pool.
WA Police stress that the community is remaining calm following the incident, as the region’s most senior cop went on social media on Thursday and thanked Broome residents for their support.
