Broncos vs. 49ers score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, results for ‘Sunday Night Football’

Broncos #Broncos

We’re live with the Week 3 edition of “Sunday Night Football” as the Denver Broncos host the San Francisco 49ers. This is yet another matchup of old NFC West rivals Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garoppolo, only this time Wilson plays for a new team and Garoppolo is the starter for San Francisco only due to an injury to the man in front of him.

Denver has gotten off to a slow start to the year offensively, and faces its toughest test of the season to date in this 49ers defense. Jimmy G stepped in for an injured Trey Lance last week and helped the Niners rebound from their disappointing Week 1 loss to the Bears by taking it to the Seahawks in Week 2 (after Seattle had defeated Denver in the season-opener). San Francisco on Sunday night should look a lot like the version of the team we’ve gotten used to over the past few years — especially now that George Kittle is ready to return from the injury that kept him out of the season’s first two contests.

One of these teams will improve to 2-1 by the end of Sunday evening, and the other will fall to 1-2. Which is which? We’ll find out soon enough. Be sure to keep it locked to our live blog throughout the evening as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
