BRIT Awards presenter Jack Whitehall was slammed last night for making a joke about Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s sensational feud.
Comedian Jack reminded Taylor’s fans about Kanye stealing the limelight from her in 2009 at the VMAs – leaving them spitting feathers on Twitter.

The returning Brits host hurled insults at a number of famous faces during the ceremony at the O2 Arena but was called out for his remarks about the rapper and pop star.
One fan sniped online: “Can we just remove Kanye from the Taylor narrative now please. It’s been a while #TaylorSwift#BRITs”
Jack’s gaffe came moments after he made a sex joke at pregnant Little Mix singers Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
Ahead of Taylor picking up the Brits’ Global Icon award, he said: “Imagine if she gave her little statue to Kanye.”

Taylor’s loyal following swarmed on Twitter, having picked up on the reference to Kanye claiming he made Taylor “Famous” in his 2016 track.
One said: “OMFG jack really went there with the kanye and taylor joke 😬😬💀💀💀”
Another trolled Jack and raged: “.@jackwhitehall there was no need at all for you to bring kanye’s thing into taylor’s moment, GO F**k YOURSELF! #BRITs”
However, some enjoyed the nostalgic joke as one said: “Taylor giving the little statue to Kanye I would actually like to see it”

In another dig at Taylor re-recording her albums over a legal dispute, Jack said: “If she doesn’t win tonight she’ll probably just re-record the whole show to make sure that she does… Taylor Swift will be with us later.”
During the ceremony, Jack also took aim at Rita Ora for her illegal party in the Covid pandemic and Piers Morgan being forced off Good Morning Britain.
Taking a swipe at former Good Morning Britain Presenter Piers in his opening speech, Jack told the 4,000-strong audience: “I cannot tell you how grateful we are to be here tonight for the first live event back in the 02 arena.
“It’s been a tough year, Covid’s had more comebacks than Craig David but this evening we look forward to a brighter future.”
