Thomas Frank attempted to whip up the Brentford crowd in a bid to spur his side on ahead of their huge play-off semi final second leg against Bournemouth, only for the Bees to go one goal down to the Cherries after five minutes.
Last season’s play-off finalists are attempting to reach the Premier League for the first time in the club’s history, but entered Saturday’s second-leg with plenty to do having lost 1-0 to Jonathan Woodgate’s side in the first leg.
The west Londoners welcomed fans back to the brand new Brentford Community Stadium and their charismatic Danish coach looked to rally Bees supporters before kick off.

The 47-year-old was captured dashing around the pitch, waving his arms in the direction of the supporters who responded with great acclaim ahead of the monumental game.
Frank was also seen holding three fingers up to the crowd, accompanied by a zero gesture, indicating a pre-match prediction of a 3-0 win for the hosts.
Frank’s efforts appeared to have little impact, however, as the Brentford coach was left slightly red-faced after Bournemouth opened the scoring within the first five minutes of the game.

Arnaut Danjuma dispatched beyond David Raya with a fine strike into the top corner, having scored in the first leg at the Vitality Stadium.
Brentford have since rallied, though, with Ivan Toney scoring from the penalty spot to make the aggregate score 2-1 to the Cherries.
However, Woodgate’s side are up against it for the remainder of the game as a result of being reduced to ten-men after a cynical foul by Chris Mepham on Bryan Mbeumo.
