BREAKING: Champions League and Europa League matches temporarily cancelled

Liverpool and 11 other clubs have announced that they are forming a new mid-week competition that would rival the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. The breakaway European competition could see the those involved earn upwards of €10 billion during the initial commitment to the Founding Clubs.
In a joint statement made by the 12 Founding Clubs, Florentino Perez spoke about the new league.
“We will help football at every level and take it to its rightful place in the world. Football is the only global sport in the world with more than four billion fans and our responsibility as big clubs is to respond to their desires.”
Florentino Perez, the President of Real Madrid and the first Chairman of the Super League was a vocal leader in the formation of the Super League.
With these strong quotes and the disarray in world footballing community, all Champions League and Europa League matches have been temporarily cancelled.
However, contrary reports from Rob Harris of AP claim that this is not true and that both the Champions League and Europa league matches will go on as scheduled.
Andrea Agnelli, Chairman of Juventus and Vice-Chairman of the Super League said,
“Our 12 Founder clubs represent billions of fans across the globe and 99 European trophies. We have come together at this critical moment, enabling European competition to be transformed, putting the game we love on a sustainable footing for the long-term future, substantially increasing solidarity, and giving fans and amateur players a regular flow of headline fixtures that will feed their passion for the game while providing them with engaging role models.”
In a move that solidifies that the footballing world is currently in disarray, there will definitely be further responses from UEFA and the other football governing bodies.
