Bray Wyatt #BrayWyatt

WWE was forced to delete a promo that John Cena cut on Bray Wyatt in 2020 because of how brutal it was.

Wyatt is rumoured to be coming back to WWE tonight, so fans have been looking back at some of his most iconic moments.

A moment that Bray probably doesn’t want to be remembered of is when Cena ruined him so badly in a promo that WWE had to take the video down.

John Cena absolutely ruined Bray Wyatt

At WrestleMania 36, Cena and Wyatt faced off in the Firefly Fun House, one of the wildest matches in WWE history.

Because the match was so bonkers, fans seem to have forgotten about the promo that Cena cut on Wyatt two days before the match, albeit only briefly.

Below is the promo that WWE released of Cena absolutely savaging Wyatt, with John’s words being so brutal that the video was forced to be deleted.

The promo was seriously so brutal that, as you can see below, fans started to question whether or not Bray and Cena legitimately didn’t like each other.

So, what on earth did Cena have to say about Wyatt that so clearly so bad?

Well, Cena started by saying that he wasn’t scared of Bray, essentially undoing everything that WWE was trying to build up with his Fiend character at the time.

Cena also completely shattered kayfabe, stating that The Fiend was just Bray Wyatt, Husky Harris (his old character), before labelling him as “just a guy in a mask”.

John said that he wasn’t afraid to say that he wasn’t afraid of The Fiend, despite the fact that WWE clearly wanted all of its wrestlers to pretend to be to keep with the character’s mystique.
