Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has admitted his squad is ‘thin’ at the moment and that he may be forced to bring in new faces before the deadline.

When asked whether he needs to bring in a signing during the window, Iraola said: “Yeah, probably we will need a new player because we are thin right now.

“I don’t know what will happen as there are still quite a few days in the market but right now we are thin.”

Diogo Jota has given his thoughts on Liverpool’s emphatic win and his double at the Vitality Stadium.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Jota said: “I try to be in the right place at the right time and this kind of feeling just comes naturally and that’s why I need to be there to score goals and make assists.

“They played good, they were great in the first half.

“We made a few changes in the second half and everything flowed a bit better.

“In the end, we got the result, that was the most important thing.”
