Boston vs. Golden State – Celtics demolish Warriors 140-88, exorcise ’22 demons
Celtics #Celtics
The Boston Celtics came into their tilt with the Golden State Warriors at TD Garden on Sunday afternoon with an agenda, and by the end of the tilt’s second quarter, it translated into the largest halftime lead in Celtics history. By the time the game ended with a 140-88 beatdown of the Dubs, the Celtics had a new record for the third-largest margin of victory in franchise history.
There is not much to break down in such a blowout win. That Boston won the march of dimes with 11 more assists, picked the Dubs’ pockets 10-2, or won the battle of the boards by 6 should not surprise. If anything, one would expect a larger disparity, but going 55.2% from the floor overall and 51.0% from deep explains a lot for the Celtics.
Let’s take a look at some of the best moments captured in images in the Celtics’ 60th game of the 2023-24 NBA season vs. the Dubs.
