Boston Red Sox lineup: J.D. Martinez, Rafael Devers, Jackie Bradley Jr. are slumping but have hit well vs. Yankees’ James Paxton

Rafael Devers is 12-for-69 (.174) with 24 strikeouts in 18 games this season. J.D. Martinez is 16-for073 (.219) with 21 strikeouts in 19 games.

Jackie Bradley Jr. is 13-for-60 (.217) with 18 strikeouts in 19 games.

But all three have had success in their careers vs. Yankees left-handed starter James Paxton, who will pitch opposite righty Nathan Eovaldi on Saturday.

Devers is 5-for-14 (.357) with one double vs. Paxton. Martinez is 8-for-19 (.421) with two homers, two doubles and one triple vs. Paxton. Bradley is 7-for-16 (.438) with two doubles against the lefty.

Eovaldi has made eight career appearances (five starts) against the Yankees, posting a 1.95 ERA (7 earned runs, 32 1/4 u2153 innings).

First pitch is set for 7:07 p.m.
