Bombers’ Collaros leaves game vs. Elks with apparent injury

Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros left Thursday night’s game against the Edmonton Elks with an apparent injury.
The Blue Bombers announced that he won’t return for the remainder of the contest with an unspecified ailment.
Collaros took a hit while attempting to a complete a pass that was intercepted by Elks defensive back Loucheiz Purifoy and returned for a touchdown.
After laying on the ground for several minutes, Collaros was able to walk off the field under his own power before heading to the locker room. Dru Brown replaced Collaros under center for the Blue Bombers’ next series.
