Bogdan Bogdanovic was almost at a loss for words after Serbia conquered a star-studded Canada team on Friday to advance to the 2023 FIBA World Cup finals against either USA or Germany.

But the 31-year-old sharpshooter shared credit with his teammates for another stellar game that put them one win away from their first-ever World Cup title.

“I don’t know what to say. Props to all the guys, we played amazing,” Bogdanovic said.

“If we told [before] that we had the best game against Lithuania, tonight was our best game so far in the tournament. We can enjoy tonight and tomorrow we have to recover and watch the game tonight and get ready for finals.”

The Atlanta Hawks star dropped 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field alongside four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block.

But aside from him, several others also stepped up with big man Nikola Milutinov dropping a double-double of 16 markers and 10 boards laced with two dimes while Ognjen Dobric chipped in 16 points.

“We knew that he’s (Milutinov) going to be a big part of tonight’s game. Against Lithuania, they had a bigger lineup so we played through guards a little bit more but with Nikola, he’s been amazing,” Bogdanovic added.

“He improves his game. He’s been better every single year. He helped us a lot.”
