Body bearing signs of violence found in gully near Taranto

(ANSA) – ROME, FEB 23 – The body of a man aged 25-30 bearing signs of violence was found in a gully near Taranto in Puglia on Thursday, local sources said.    The body was found Thursday morning in a gulch in the countryside at Manduria (Taranto).    On the body, there were reportedly wounds and signs of violence.    The death dated back to a mere few hours previously, medical examiners said.    The Carabinieri of the local company and the scientific unit of the Taranto provincial command responded to the scene.    An autopsy has been ordered.
