BLACKPINK dominates Billboard charts, ‘Whistle’ crosses 800 million views

BLACKPINK’s mini-album “Born Pink” is about to be released within a few days, and nothing can stop the group from painting the town with their color. Reports suggest that BlACKPINK gathered a whopping 69.2 million streams during the tracking week of September 2 to 8. As for sales outside of the USA, Blackpink got 3000 sales during the same period.

A new milestone for BLACKPINK: BLACKPINK also reached another milestone with its music video ‘Whistle,’ crossing 800 million views on YouTube. This music video is the girl group’s 6th one to reach this many views on YouTube, before that ‘As If It’s Your Last,’ ‘BOOMBAYAH’, ‘Kill This Love,’ ‘How You Like That,’ and ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ recorded this number.

BLACKPINK’s ‘Whistle’ took 6 years and a month to achieve this staggering number, while the music video ‘BOOMBAYAH’ currently stands at 1.4 billion views, released on the same day.

Their new album ‘Born Pink’ is scheduled to be released on September 16, containing a music video for the ‘Shut Down’ title track. With the pre-release of ‘Pink Venom’, the girl group BLACKPINK is making most of their comeback, and so are their fans, Blinks; they are eager to get more new music from the group.
