Tory Lanez decided to break his silence over the Megan Thee Stallion shooting, however it seems like Black Twitter would prefer the Toronto rapper remain silent. A month after Megan accused him of shooting her in the foot in July, Lanez took to social media to share his side of the story by promoting his new album, Daystar.

Lanez, whose new LP embraces his real first name, returned to Twitter on Thursday (September 24) to prepare followers for his comeback: “To my fans… I’m sorry for my silence… but respectfully… I got time today… 9 PM PST.” The tweet was Tory’s first since the shooting on July 12.
