Bills vs. Giants score: Live updates, TV, streaming, odds as banged-up New York looks to avoid 1-5 start
Bills #Bills
In a sleepy offensive performance, the heavily favored Buffalo Bills trail the New York Giants 6-0 at halftime. It’s the first time since 2019 the Bills were shut out in the first half.
The Bills made numerous mistakes throughout the first half, with wide receiver Gabe Davis fumbling away one possession, kicker Tyler Bass pushing a field goal wide to the right on another, and Josh Allen ending a third with a tipped interception. Allen ended the half having completed only 8 of 18 passes for 87 yards and the pick, and he did not throw a touchdown pass. The quarterback was under duress almost every time he dropped back, and New York’s much-maligned defense had sticky coverage on the pass-catchers throughout the half despite multiple players leaving due to injury.
Meanwhile, the Giants capitalized on the first opportunities Buffalo gifted them with the aforementioned fumble and missed field goal by driving for field goals of their own, but they botched the clock management on the third and let the clock run out on the half instead of kicking a third. Tyrod Taylor, filling in for the injured Daniel Jones, made a couple nice throws to Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson, but New York also did not get much very going on offense overall and went three-and-out on each of its drives that did not start with one of those Buffalo miscues.
Will the Giants hang on, or will the Bills stage a second-half comeback? We’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the rest of the evening as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
