Big honor for Sammy Brown:
On Monday, the five-star Clemson linebacker commit was named one of 12 semifinalists for the High School Butkus Award, which is presented to the nation’s best linebacker at the high school level.
Brown, who led Jefferson (Ga.) High School to an undefeated regular season and a region championship, committed to Clemson on June 5, 2023.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior is the No. 2 linebacker and No. 12 overall prospect in the 2024 class, per 247Sports.
