BIG BROTHER EXIT INTERVIEW: ‘They made a mistake keeping Tilly!’ Michael warns Dan not to fall for the ditz act

Tilly #Tilly

He may have been unceremoniously evicted from the Big Brother house, but Michael Brown has some words of advice for his housemates:

“You made a mistake keeping Tilly!”

The 29-year-old marketing consultant found himself up for eviction alongside fellow members of the ‘plane crew’, Tilly and Mary.

“It was my nightmare situation; everyone loves Tilly, she’s loud and in your face and then Mary is like the mum of the house and cooks for everyone, so it was a bad position to be in,” Michael told 7NEWS.com.au after he was evicted.

That nightmare soon became a reality after it became clear that the self-appointed ‘General’ of the house, Daniel, had sided with Tilly and swung votes in her favour.

“Daniel was gunning to keep Tilly in, so I knew it was going to be one swing vote in it,” explained Michael.

Michael’s suspicions were on the money, with just one vote separating him and Tilly, but it was enough to send him packing.

DITZ ACT IS A TRAP

While Daniel may fancy himself as a master tactician, Michael believes the alpha male has taken Tilly’s bait and will end up paying the ultimate price.

“Daniel thought he could manipulate her more than me because she plays the ditz card,” explained Michael.

“But she is much smarter than she lets on, she has a strategy, and Daniel is walking straight into her trap, and good on Tilly for that.”

Michael and Tilly arrived in the Big Brother house together, spending a total of twenty-four hours together on Big Brother’s ‘plane.’ It was during this time Michael believes he worked out Tilly’s game plan.

“She’d just drop the most expert knowledge on topics, or incredible facts, just out of the blue, so I think it is an act, and the longer you talk to her, the more you see the chinks in armour,” said Michael.

“Tilly is playing a character.”

NOT SO SILLY TILLY

Earlier in the evening, Daniel had instructed his group not to vote for Tilly, having developed a soft spot for the 21-year-old communications student.

“She reminds me of myself at that age,” Daniel explained to his offsider, Nick.

But Michael warns that Daniel’s blinkers when it comes to Tilly could be his eventual undoing.

“They don’t comprehend the true impact she will have on the game, and I think Daniel will regret the decision of keeping her, not me,” said Nick.

“She’s a challenge beast, she’s mentally strong, and the Australian public will love her. It could be the last mistake he makes.”

PLANE AWKWARD

Michael found himself up for eviction after being on the losing team during tonight’s Battle Lines Nomination challenge. The winning team, led by Daniel, was able to pick three people from the opposing team to put up for nomination.

Despite the winning team being a mix of original housemates and the ‘Plane Crew,’ no original housemates were put up for nomination.

“I was shocked by that because there was a mix of people in the room. I thought it was going to be more evenly split and assumed there would be original members up for eviction,” said Michael.

Michael then found himself in the unenviable position of scrambling for votes, aware that he was up against two house favourites.

“That is such an awkward experience you’re kind of pleading for your life, it’s uncomfortable,” admitted Michael.

DETHRONING DAN

With Michael turfed from the competition, the plane crew are outnumbered, meaning Dan remains the top dog – for now.

“Dan, Nick and Mitch are a tight group, so they’ve got a stranglehold on the house, but they need to be split up,” said Michael.

“People are missing opportunities to get rid of Dan because he has a way with words; he can talk his way out of trouble.”

“But that can’t last forever, and I think it’ll all come crashing down on Dan soon.”
