BIG BROTHER EXIT INTERVIEW: ‘Jess is weak, and Katie is fake!’ Renata goes down swinging
Jess #Jess
Big Brother’s Lithuanian flight attendant Renata Bubeniene has crashed out of Big Brother, but not before firing off a few parting shots.
The 45-year-old was sent packing with a whopping 14 nominations after clashing with newcomer Jess and original housemate, Katie.
“Jess is weak, and Katie is fake,” Renata told 7NEWS.com.au following the eviction.
“Katie had Jess doing her dirty work like a little pawn; Katie was using her.”
OLD vs NEW
Earlier in the evening, the original Big Brother housemates found themselves on shaky ground as eight new players entered the game.

“It was a lot to take in, so many people and so much energy, it changed the dynamic, and we didn’t have enough time to get to know each other,” said Renata.
But one person who wasted no time cosying up to the newbies was Katie. After her ex-boyfriend Max was voted out on night one, the 27-year-old podcast host was quick to buddy up to the fresh housemates, including AFLW star Jess.

“Katie had to because she had no other friends in the house,” said Renata.
“So she had to grab anyone who was entering the house, which she did with Jess.”
FAKE FRIEND OUT FOR REVENGE
Renata believes Katie put a target on her back as she was responsible for putting Max up for eviction on night one.
“She never got over that, so she had a plan to bring me down. I was on her radar from that moment,” explained Katie.
“She was faking being my friend, she is fake, and it was all a lie.”
Renata also believes Katie worked hard to turn the new housemates against her.

At one point during tonight’s episode, Katie and Renata clashed in the kitchen over her potato peeling skins. Renata’s strong reaction prompts Katie to admit to the other housemates, ‘Renata makes everyone feel uneasy.’
“Katie tried to turn people against me, even in the kitchen, she wanted to make me seem not likable, and that’s fine. I didn’t try to be likable; I just tried to be me,” said Renata.
PLAYING ‘THE GRANDMA’ CARD
The Nomination challenge added further fuel to the fire when it came down to a two-horse race between Jess and Melissa. Earlier in the day, Jess received sad news from home that her grandmother was unwell and may soon pass away.
Determined to earn a victory for her Nan, Jess offered Mel an ultimatum; let her win the challenge, and she will make sure she’s not up for nomination.
“To play the sick grandma card was not nice,” said Renata.

“I felt sorry for Jess grandma being sick, but you can’t bring it up in a game to make people feel sorry for you. We’re all doing it for someone; we all have tragedy and sad circumstances.”
Mel didn’t take the bait, and Jess ended up winning the challenge fair and square, putting Renata, Sid and Mel up for nomination.

“She used her grandma’s illness to win the challenge, and then she nominated Mel anyway.”
CHANGING ROOMS
Unhappy with her nomination Renata confronted Jess and demanded to know why the 29-year-old put her up for eviction.

“If you nominate someone, you have to have a reason not just be doing the dirty work of someone else,” said Renata. “Jess is weak, and I told her that.”
Renata also demanded to change bedrooms, refusing to spend her final night in the same room as the two women who had plotted her downfall.

“I don’t regret changing rooms; if you don’t like me, you at least have to respect me, and those girls won’t respect me. Katie was making fun of the situation, and I couldn’t be near her.”
DANIEL vs KATIE
While it’s still early days in the Big Brother house, battle lines have been drawn with Katie and Daniel emerging as the two key contenders. “People need to be watching Katie,” warned Renata.
“At least with Daniel, you can see what he’s doing, and he is more upfront with his decisions. He’s not fake like Katie, he puts all his cards on the table, but she is two-faced.”
