Bette Midler Says White House Needs ‘Fumigation’ When Donald Trump Leaves

Bette Midler has said that the White House needs to be “fumigated” when Donald Trump leaves.
The veteran actress and singer is highly critical of Trump and his administration and famously uses her social media platform to denounce the GOP.
Now the “Wind Beneath My Wings” singer has taken aim at Trump once again, this time mocking the number of COVID-19 infections that have been associated with the current White House.
“Before #Biden moves into the White House, it’s said to need fumigation,” Midler tweeted. “It will be misted with disinfectant to kill any lingering Covid from the totally infected #Trump administration. Probably wouldn’t hurt to hose it down with holy water, either.”

Midler’s mockery comes as Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani was diagnosed with coronavirus this week.
The former New York City mayor is being widely lambasted for contracting the virus after continuously downplaying the pandemic and being seen at public events repeatedly without wearing a mask.
Another Team Trump lawyer, Jenna Ellis, also tested positive this week after attending a hearing with Giuliani about alleged voter fraud.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump both caught the virus in October prior to the election. Other top aides, including Trump campaign manager Bill Stepian, adviser Hope Hicks and press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, also tested positive around the same time.
In fact, Giuliani is at least the 40th person in Trump’s White House inner circle to contract COVID-19.
Several others close to Trump tested positive in November, including the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. and Giuliani’s son Andrew Giuliani, who is a White House official.
Giuliani was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington last Sunday.
Early Monday, the 76-year-old wrote in a tweet: “Thank you to all my friends and followers for all the prayers and kind wishes. I’m getting great care and feeling good. Recovering quickly and keeping up with everything.”
Midler further lashed out at Republicans this week. On Thursday, the Hocus Pocus star branded Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader “utterly useless” and a cheater.
Sharing a breakdown of the Bluegrass State’s rankings on health care, education and economy, Midler tweeted: “He is useless, utterly useless. How did he win with an 18% approval rating? F****** cheated, that’s how! #Kentucky, you are keeping us all down. I demand a #KentuckyRecount.”
Midler’s rant questioned why the people of Kentucky are continuing to vote for McConnell despite these low rankings.
