Best New Music This Week: Tink Returns With ‘Thanks 4 Nothing’

Tink #Tink

For years, the multifaceted entertainer Tink has been one of the best artists around, but has still managed to fly under the radar. With co-signs from Billboard and Rolling Stone, along with music legends like Common and Timbaland, it’s still a surprise to many why the Chicago native has yet to hit mainstream. But as the old saying goes: “Cream rises to the top,” and today, Tink wants to further highlight her underrated talents with the new album, Thanks 4 Nothing.

The 14-track album includes guest appearances from Yung Bleu and Ty Dolla $ign, and features stand out songs such as “Fake Love,” “Trust Issues,” “Tongue Tied,” and more. It is also a mix of upbeat and introspective songs that explore themes of self-reflection, love, and growth. Tink’s lyrics are honest and relatable, and pulls from her personal experiences – both good and bad.

Along with Thanks 4 Nothing, today’s list includes drops from Chlöe Bailey, Baby Tate, Lil Wayne, Quavo, and more. Take a look at this week’s “Best New Music” roundup below.
