Benzino Bashes Eminem With “Rap Elvis” Diss Track As Their Feud Heats Up Again

Benzino dropped his second Eminem diss track in a matter of days on Wednesday (January 31). The former co-owner of The Source fired more shots at Eminem on a new song titled “Rap Elvis” roughly 48 hours after releasing the “Vulturius” diss.

“Rock ‘n Roll was a Black thing until Elvis came and made it different/You can’t self-sustain, you too selfish, wait and listen/You keep saying my name, you put yourself in this position/This is what happens when the Celtics play the Pistons/I was minding my business, you wasn’t making any type of noise these days/So a choice was made, clout chase Benzino and Coi Leray,” Benzino rapped.

Benzino declared he “is the culture” and more Detroit than Eminem. The Boston-bred rapper gave Eminem credit for helping 50 Cent but attacked Slim Shady’s track record with other artists.

“So let’s go down your stable, Gunn left your label/Benny left your label, Con left your label/Royce left your label, Joe Budden left your label/Ortiz left your label, no, Crooked I couldn’t save you/Yelawolf been out her flopping/And where the hell Ca$his at though/Heard from Obie Trice only twice and not a word from Stat Quo/With all them false lines that you pitched them/Shady Records sound like less of a name and more like a description/A chain here, a feature there, beside that, what did he do?/And why this cat don’t get the kind of criticism Diddy do?” he rapped.

Benzino criticized his longtime foe for not supporting the current battle rap scene. Coi Leray’s dad also accused Eminem of ducking battles with lyricists who dissed Em in the past.

“Rap Elvis” and “ Vulturius” were released after Eminem dissed Benzino on the song “Doomsday Pt. 2.” Em’s diss appeared on Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow compilation, which dropped on January 26.
