Akinmoladun was promoted to the Bengals’ active roster Thursday.
The 24-year-old was elevated by the Bengals at the tail end of last season by the team, earning just six snaps in two games over that span. Akinmoladun will add depth at defensive tackle with Geno Atkins (shoulder) and Mike Daniels (groin) sidelined for Thursday’s game against the Browns.
