The England Test captain reversed his decision last month in order to play in the 2023 World Cup, where he will hope to help the Jos Buttler-led side defend their crown.
Stokes was the star of England’s 2019 World Cup victory with a match-winning knock in the dramatic final against New Zealand at Lord’s.
