Just a heads up: City offices will be closed Friday in honor of Good Friday and there will be no bus service that day. There will be no interruption to garbage, heavy trash, or yard waste services and the landfill will be open for normal operation.

You’re Invited: Riverfront Park Groundbreaking Ceremony
Join us at 1:30 p.m. April 11 at the Riverfront Park Pavilion
We’ll kick off the long-awaited Riverfront Park restoration in conjunction with our partners at Callan Marine and Lanier & Associates. If you plan on attending, it’s recommended to park at City Hall.
Construction plans include demolition of landside and items, which will take place roughly April to May; and dredging and excavation, which is scheduled for May to September. Installation of the steel bulkhead will begin in September, when the work will be most visually noticeable, with an estimated completion date of September 2024.
