  • The No. 6 Baylor women’s basketball team, which has been on a COVID-19 pause since Jan. 5, will be back in action Saturday against visiting Iowa State (7 p.m. ET, ESPNU). However, coach Kim Mulkey’s availability won’t be determined until game day.

Mulkey tested positive for COVID-19 on Jan. 4 after she was exposed to the virus Dec. 25 by a family member who tested positive.

She missed Baylor’s last game, a 74-50 victory at TCU on Jan. 2 in which her longtime assistant, associate head coach Bill Brock, served as head coach. Brock will do the same Saturday if Mulkey is not cleared to rejoin the team.
