Aston Villa v Arsenal: Get Arsenal to win, Nketiah to score, Kamara and Xhaka both to be carded at 30/1 with Sky Bet

Arsenal kick off the Premier League weekend with a lunchtime trip to Aston Villa on Saturday as they look to get back to winning ways having lost their position at the top of the table.

And talkSPORT have picked out a 30/1 BuildABet from Sky Bet backing the home side to win, which can be added straight to your bet slip here.

No player has scored more goals for Arsenal than Nketiah this season, who has taken the role as lead striker well following Gabriel Jesus’ injury, scoring six goals for the club since the World Cup.

Kamara and Xhaka are both likely to have busy games in the heart of either teams’ midfield, and it’s not unlikely either player will be adding to their combined nine yellow cards they’ve picked up this season.

Arsenal’s midweek defeat to Manchester City knocked the Gunners off the top the table for the first time since before the World Cup, and has now left the north London side with three defeats in their last four matches.

Mikel Arteta’s side had a five point cushion at the top of the table just a fortnight ago, but a three match span in which they picked up just one point means that the Gunners now trail the Citizens on goal difference.

Arsenal do still have a game in hand over their Man City, a home game against Everton at the start of next month, and will hope to still be within reach of Pep Guardiola’s side by then to reclaim top spot.

The Gunners will retain top spot if they avoid defeat at Villa Park on Saturday lunchtime, and a win would pile the pressure on Man City, who face a tough trip to the City Ground later in the afternoon.

Aston Villa have also hit a small slump in form after a resurgence in results following the appointment of Unai Emery as manager.

The Villans were just a point above the relegation zone when the Spaniard was hired, and just five wins in his first seven games saw the club climb up 11th and within touching distance of the top half of the table.

Defeats in their last two matches, against Leicester and Manchester City, has hindered their progress slightly, and a visit of title challengers Arsenal isn’t the ideal match get back to winning ways.

The Gunners have won the last three meetings between the two sides, but Emery is unbeaten against both Arsenal and Arteta in his managerial career.
