Aston Villa make desperate last-ditch attempt to stop Jack Grealish joining Man City

Grealish has been at his boyhood club since the age of eight and may feel like now is as good a time as there ever will be to make the step up.
He was knocking on the door of Gareth Southgate’s starting line-up at the European Championships, and a big move may help him push into it.
Furthermore, the Daily Star claim Grealish’s current City will likely double his £130,000-a-week salary at the Etihad Stadium anyway.
He’d join the club as the third-highest earner in Pep Guardiola’s squad, just below Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.
