New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo continued to hit for power in Tuesday’s American League Division Series Game 1 4-1 win over the Guardians, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a strikeout. Rizzo provided some insurance runs in the sixth inning, crushing a Cal Quantrill offering into the second deck of the right-field seats to put the Yankees up by three. The lefty sold out for power during the regular season, slashing .224/.338/.480 with 32 HR and 75 RBI. The Yankees will continue to rely on him as one of their main power sources throughout the playoffs.
