Angus Taylor jabs PM over travel instead of providing economic plan

The Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor is calling upon Anthony Albanese to deliver an economic plan to deal with inflation and energy pressures instead of travelling.

With another rate rise and Energy Australia hiking energy prices by more than 17 per cent, Aussies are feeling the pressures more than ever.

Mr Taylor took aim at the Prime Minister for “navigating the globe” instead of providing a plan to deal with economic pressures.

“We need a real response,” Mr Taylor said.

“Right now is the right time for [the government] to tighten its belt.”
