American music legend performing at the Champions League half time show in major signing
HALF TIME #HALFTIME
WEMBLEY Stadium will be rocking on June 1 when the Champions League final is played there.
And that’s not just because of the footy.

I can exclusively reveal that Lenny Kravitz is being lined up to perform at the half-time show.
Insiders said the American star has been booked to take to the hallowed centre spot where he’d play some of his biggest hits.
A source said: “If Man City or Arsenal make it through to the final their fans are in for a real treat.
“Lenny has been lined up for the halftime show and his team are working on an epic show.

“He last played in the UK, at London’s O2 Arena, back in 2019 so this will be a rare chance for British fans to see him live.
“Lenny is playing the show before he heads off on his Blue Electric Light tour which starts in Germany at the end of the month.
“He is an incredible live performer and will put on a show to remember.”
Or forget – given how half cut us football fans get…
Lenny is following in the footsteps of Burna Boy, who headlined the show in Istanbul alongside Anitta and Alesso last year.
Previously artists including Dua Lipa, The Black Eyed Peas, Imagine Dragons and Camila Cabello have all landed the gig.
How old is Lenny Kravitz-‘ cry People’s Choice Awards fans stunned by his age-defying looks after his ‘iconic’ speech
Last month Lenny put on quite the show at the People’s Choice Awards in LA where he was also honoured with their Music Icon gong.
He performed a medley of tracks with Fly Away, Are You Gonna Go My Way and It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over among my favourites.
Lenny appeared overcome when he accepted the award, previously awarded to singers including Shania Twain and Christina Aguilera.
He was handed the gong by Victoria Monet and said in his speech: “An icon, to me, is someone who inspires and teaches others to believe in themselves, and their direction, whatever that direction is.
“It’s never been about how many records I sell, or how many awards I win. It’s not about trying to write hits, or being calculated or formulaic.
“It’s about enjoying and being grateful for the journey, and using the gifts that God gave you, and that journey goes how it goes. And it will continue, because I’m just doing me.”
I’ll be watching the show from home, unless Arsenal manage to scrape through – in which case I’d rather watch paint dry and will just turn the telly on for Lenny. What a signing.
Swift rift healed for Tay ‘n’ Katy

THEIR feud lasted for years but Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have put any ill feeling firmly in their past as they reunited in Australia.
The I Kissed A Girl singer was in the audience for Tay’s latest show in Sydney last night before heading backstage for a selfie.
Katy shared the smiley photograph on Instagram and wrote: “Got to see an old friend shine tonight.”
Awkwardly though, during Taylor’s show Katy was seen singing along to Taylor’s 2014 song Bad Blood, which is widely believed to be a diss track written about her.
She would have been word perfect at least.
Rita Ora and her actor husband Taika Waititi were also at the show and also popped into Taylor’s dressing room for a meet and greet.
Something tells me these lot didn’t have to jump through hoops and queue for hours on Ticketmaster to get tickets like the rest of us.
Posh in boot

ONLY Posh Spice could make a surgical boot look chic.
Victoria Beckham refused to let her broken foot get in the way of style and teamed the clunky trotter accessory with one of her £890 Alaïa Coeur pumps on a night out with pals at Dorian bistro in London’s Notting Hill.
Hubby DAVID had spilt the beans by sharing a snap of her boot with his 87million Instagram fans. He said: “Apparently my wife’s little accident in the gym was a clean break.”
At least it gets her out of another gruelling leg day with her personal trainer.
I’d suggest Posh put her feet up with a packet of biccies, but seeing as she swaps a birthday cake for fruit every year, I’ll happily hoover them up for her.

Italian DJ Gianluca Vacchi is working on new musicCredit: Supplied
HE’S the businessman who took social media by storm as The Money King.
And after signing his first record deal with Spinnin’ Records in 2018, Italian DJ Gianluca Vacchi has now started his own music business.
In an exclusive chat, he said: “My passion for music is more alive than ever. I’m working on lots of new music and I’ve launched a record label Mundo Paralelo.”
With his business taking off Gianluca won’t be playing Ibiza this summer, but he’s proud of his legacy there.
He added: “I was among the first to introduce Latin music to Ibiza when it was not considered as cool as today. Now, the music world is taking notice.”
Next year, Gianluca, I want you back behind the decks.
ONE of pop’s top publicists has written his first book, spilling secrets about working with some of the biggest stars.
Alan Edwards was David Bowie’s PR for 35 years and also brokered the £1million magazine deal when Victoria and David Beckham got married.
Alan’s book, I Was There: Dispatches From A Life In Rock And Roll is out June 6.
Alex aces it with TV role

JUST five months after giving birth to her second child, Alexandra Burke is grafting hard – and has just landed a huge role in a TV series on Paramount+.
The singer is to appear in gritty crime drama Curfew, alongside Bancroft actress Sarah Parish.
A source said: “Alexandra’s acting career is going off the charts.
“She made her film debut in Pretty Red Dress last year and now she’s landed a role in a new drama, alongside Sarah.
“It’s a dream come true for Alexandra to be recognised for her acting and she’s worked so hard on honing her craft.
“Those around her have no idea how she juggles having two young kids with so much work but she makes it look easy.”
Not only is Alexandra working on the new TV series but she’s also preparing to head back to the West End.
She will reprise her role as Deloris Van Cartier, the lead in Sister Act at London’s Dominion Theatre in June for a three-month run.
Just writing about her schedule is making me feel tired. Keep up the great work, Alexandra. You’re smashing it.

CELEBRITY Big Brother may have a surprise fan in supermodel Naomi Campbell when it starts next week.
The catwalk star has struck up a friendship with the show’s host AJ Odudu and they enjoyed a workout class together in London this week.
I would love it if AJ persuaded her new pal to be a housemate. Watching Naomi argue with Louis Walsh over a bowl of cornflakes would be essential viewing.
Happy Valley James on the run

IT seems actor James Norton wants to look his best for the next leading lady in his life, after splitting with fiancée Imogen Poots.
James, who has just signed up to celebrity dating app Raya, was spotted looking sweaty after a run in London.
I fell head over heels for James when he played murderer Tommy Lee Royce in the best ever TV drama Happy Valley – please don’t judge – and I’d volunteer to mop his brow.
Sadly, I don’t think he would swipe right on a tubby hack but a girl can dream . . .
Calvin’s set to quit live gigs ‘in next few years’

IF you haven’t had chance yet to go to a Calvin Harris show, you might want to get tickets soon.
The DJ, real name Adam Wiles, says he will retire from playing live in the next few years.
On Capital Dance, the 40-year-old told presenter Mistajam: “I always said that once I get past 50, I can’t see me DJing.”
“I prefer to be in the studio making tunes. But maybe I’ll just make someone else’s tunes, like a ghost producer, or mix down for people. I’ll do that when I get a bit older. I think that is where the majority of my talent lies.”
Pushed as to when he’ll hang up his headphones, Calvin said with a laugh: “42 or 43.”
That’s no time at all.
Luckily for him, his wife, Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope, pictured with him, is there to keep him on his toes.
He added: “My Mrs, she’s got so much energy, I’m trying to keep up with her. But you know, it [40] feels good. I like the age.”
