Update: Missing 2-week-old twins recovered safely, police cancel Amber Alert
LIVONIA, MI — An Amber Alert has been issued after two twin boys were abducted Monday morning by a pair of unidentified Black women.
Michigan State Police say the suspects were last seen in a black Jeep Cherokee with chrome trim around the passenger windows and a license plate of EHD1130. The vehicle was last seen near the Quality Inn on Plymouth Road, between Merriman and Middlebelt roads. The Amber Alert was issued at 5:54 a.m.
The twins, identified as Matthew and Montana Bridges, are Black males and are 2 weeks old. The twins were believed to only be wearing diapers when they were abducted.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the twins are asked to contact Livonia police at 734-466-2470, ext 2 or 911. Police say anyone who spots the suspected vehicle should not approach the vehicle themselves and should contact police immediately.
