ARSENAL had it so easy against West Ham that Leandro Trossard even had enough to retrieve a boot for his team-mate.

The Hammers were completely humiliated at the London Stadium as David Moyes’ men were thumped 6-0.

William Saliba broke the deadlock on 32 minutes, but by the half time whistle, hordes of West Ham fans were flocking out of the ground as they trailed 4-0.

Bukayo Saka’s penalty doubled the advantage before Gabriel Magalhaes and Trossard struck moments before the break.

West Ham were rightly stunned, but whatever words manager Moyes said at the interval failed to have any effect.

Things even got so comfortable for Arsenal that Trossard was able to provide a nice assist for a fellow scorer – but not for a goals.

Brazil international Gabriel lost his boot while racing back into position to stop a West Ham attack in the 51st minute.

However, despite the Hammers still keeping hold of the ball, the threat was not deemed to be that great by Belgian ace Trossard.

He was spotted jogging back towards his own goal and giving Gabriel his boot back.

“Trossard always assisting,” joked one eagle-eyed fan on social media.

Things continued to get worse for West Ham.

Saka thumped home his second of the game in the 63rd minute to make it five.

Then West Ham’s humiliation was completed when their former captain Declan Rice fired home from the edge of the area.

He refused to celebrate his strike against his old employers – but that still did not stop some boos and jeers from those few remaining in the home end when he was subbed off seconds later.
