All of the Taylor Swift ‘Evermore’ Easter Eggs You May Have Missed

As it turns out, she’s also been dropping references to song titles found on Evermore’s 17-song track list like bread crumbs through the proverbial forest. The grayscale snap on Instagram featured a hint about lead single “Willow,” thanks to the framed photo of a willow tree behind Swift on the wall. And just one day ago, she name-dropped the title of track four, “‘Tis the Damn Season,” in an Instagram Story promoting her new cover story for Entertainment Weekly.
Fan accounts were quick to point out even more teases and Easter eggs. “‘Epiphany’ is the 13th track on #folklore where Taylor pays tribute to her grandfather — while ‘marjorie’ is also the 13th track on her new album #evermore which is the name of her grandmother,” one tweeted alongside a pair of photos of Swift’s grandparents, while another highlighted a reference to throwing herself “to the base of a willow tree by a reflection pool at midnight” in a tweet on Dec. 4.
Featuring collaborations with Haim, The National and Bon Iver, Evermore is set to drop at midnight ET on Friday (Dec. 11).
