The annual All-Daily Record winter sports selections are here.

All-Daily Record teams are made up of the most outstanding high school athletes from The Daily Record coverage area, including all of Holmes County, Wayne County and parts of Ashland County and Stark County.

Teams were selected by a panel of Daily Record staffers and correspondents. Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and other awards will be announced at a later date.

BOYS

Owen Fiesler, Triway, soph.

Especially shined late in the season as Triway qualified for the Div. II state tournament. … Finished with a 200 average, 258 high game and 479 high two-game series.

Chad Harper, Triway, jr.

Excelled as a first-year high school bowler, routinely putting up some of Triway’s best scores all season. … Finished with a 205 average, 259 high game and a 495 high two-game series.

Sam Fleming, Wooster, fr.

Burst onto the scene and immediately became one of the top bowlers in the area, routinely leading Wooster in scoring. … Finished with a 203 average, 256 high game and 448 high two-game series.

Aeron Meshew, Triway, soph.

Perhaps the most consistent of Triway’s bowlers, Meshew helped led the Titans to a 16-2 regular-season record, despite a mostly youthful roster. … Finished with a 206 average, 257 high game and 501 high two-game series.

Justin Parks, Wooster, sr.

Helped lead Wooster to an OCC title and a district appearance as the Generals’ top senior. … Finished with a 202 average, 268 high game and 479 high two-game series.

GIRLS

Danielle Densmore, Triway, jr.

Stepped up to provide Triway the depth it needed to win the Div. II state title, improving on her game during her junior season. … Finished with a 184 average, 267 high game and 469 high two-game series.

Abby Leiendecker, Wooster, soph.

Picked up where she left off after a sensational freshman year, proving herself once again as one of the top high school bowlers in Ohio by qualifying for the Div. I state tournament as an individual. … Finished with a 223 average, 278 high game and 500 high two-game series.

Addy Meshew, Triway, soph.

Starred as one of Triway’s top two bowlers on it way to the Div. II state championship. … Finished with a 201 average, 269 high game and 513 high two-game series.

Rebecca Stinchcomb, Wooster, sr.

Provided veteran leadership to a young team, helping the Generals to a second-place finish in the OCC. … Finished with a 182 average, 244 high game and 449 high two-game series.

Emma Yoder, Triway, soph.

Not only helped lead Triway to a team state title in Div. II, but she also earned an individual state title as the top bowler of the state tournament, turning in the top three-game series in Div. II state championship history with a 718. … Finished with a 210 average, 255 high game and 487 high two-game series.
