LOS ANGELES, CA – “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek said he’s “feeling great” following ongoing treatment for pancreatic cancer and has been working on the show from home.

In a video posted to the show’s Twitter account Thursday announcing upcoming shows, Trebek gave a health update.

“I’m doing well,” he said. “I’ve been continuing my treatment, and it is paying off.”

Trebek said while the treatment is working, it does fatigue him “a great deal.”

Trebek announced in March 2019 that he had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The show has not been filming in the studio due to the coronavirus pandemic, and Trebek said that during the break from the filming he has written a book that will be coming out July 21.

“I can’t wait to return to the studio and start recording shows for the new season in September,” he said. “Meanwhile, my wish for all of you: stay safe.”
