The Brazil international is the latest to be targeted by a Saudi Pro League side, with club captain Jordan Henderson currently weighing up a hugely lucrative offer from Steven Gerrard’s new club in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ettifaq.
The Athletic report Liverpool are expected to make a quick decision on the imminent offer with the club reluctant to let Fabinho leave without first bringing in a replacement.
They have however identified Southampton’s Romeo Lavia as a player to come in and fill the void.
The former Manchester City starlet is valued at £50million by Southampton.
A move to Al-Ittihad would see Fabinho link up with Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, with Jota also joining from Celtic.
Fabinho has three years left on his current deal on Merseyside and would be expected to get a huge increase on that if he accepts the Saudi offer.

Club captain Henderson, thought to be on £190,000-per-week at Liverpool, has reportedly been offered the chance to quadruple his salary.
Liverpool will not stand in his way if their skipper decides to leave, but they will look to receive a fee given he still has two years left on his contract and made 35 Premier League appearances last season.

Jurgen Klopp has been determined to rebuild his midfield this summer, bringing in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai from Brighton and RB Leipzig respectively.
Lavia is also a firm target, with Manchester United and Arsenal also credited with keen interest in the 19-year-old.
United’s immediate focus however is securing deals for Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund while Arsenal’s interest could be dependent on Thomas Partey’s next move, with Declan Rice also set to arrive from West Ham in a British record deal.
